Growing up I:   Was a tomboy that had the biggest Barbie Dream House you have ever seen.  Had a Pink bedroom with Pink Carpet.  Baked Mud-Pies, made a tree house on the ground, played Church and Post Office, Helped Chop firewood, fix motorcycles and snowmobiles, changed my own oil, fought with Liz, had LONG straight hair, bought and raised my own cows, rode in the tractor, Mowed the yard for 5 hours, played t-ball and then softball, babysat for EVERYONE, talked too much (still do!), Rode my bike with a banana seat, roller skated, walked barefoot on railroad ties, picked sandburs off my shoelaces, wore plastic jelly sandals and terry cloth sun-suits, drank Pepsi and Tang and went camping.  Was a girl scout (leader's daughter) and ate cold hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. HATED Green beans and celery.

Now I:  Scrapbook. Meal Plan. Clean. Vice President and Newsletter Editor for the Princeton Computer User Group-Free meetings on the first Tuesday of the Month.  Check my e-mail, Feed the dog and get groceries.  Volunteer at Friends of Strays cleaning dog kennels at the new shelter and feeding and watering the dogs.

We are currently remodeling our house one room at a time, gutting and putting in new walls and ceilings, finishing the original hardwood floors, and new wiring and insulation to boot. It's messy, exciting, stressful, hard work (Although all I have to do is MOVE every room around the house 50 times) and will be so much nicer when finished!
